My name is Jacob Bunn, and I believe that true hope and life is found by no other source than Jesus Christ. I also believe, as the apostle Paul stated in Philippians 3:8, that everything else can be counted as rubbish that Christ may be gained.
My skills inlcude organization, writing, planning, tweeting, voicing, blogging, budgeting, WordPress, audio editing, radio production, social media management and some other stuff. I am particularly useful in the fields of sports and politics.
I graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Human Environmental Science, where I majored in Consumer Science with a concentration of Family Financial Planning.
I have pretty much always been a big sports fan, particularly college football, NFL, basketball, baseball and golf. In 2010, I started my own sports site, BunnSports.com. On that site, I wrote and hosted podcasts. And from 2014 to 2018, I produced the “Opening Drive” radio show on WJOX-FM in Birmingham, Ala.
From an early age, I have had an interest in American politics as both a concerned citizen and student of that field. In 2012, Michelle Malkin gave me an opportunity to work as a contributing editor on her then newest entrepreneurial endeavor, a conservative Twitter aggregation site called Twitchy. Malkin sold the site to Salem Media Group in 2013 as it became part of the company’s Townhall Media conglomerate. I am privileged to still be able to contribute to the site.
I am also part of my family’s company, Bunn Media, which offers website building, graphic design, social media strategy and management, along with the artwork of my mother, Christi Bunn.
