Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

Context:
In the latter portion of the prophet Isaiah’s book, he writes about the forgiveness and restoration that God granted to Israel.
Observations:
The first observation in this verse is that salvation is for “all the ends of the earth.” This means that everyone has the opportunity to be saved.
We are also given the method of salvation – turning to God.
God is God. There is no other god.
This was written before Jesus came to earth but in full knowledge and expectation of what would take place.
Application:
The message for us and everyone is simple – turn to God and be saved. God is our creator, redeemer and sustainer. Nowhere but him can we find salvation.
