NASB:
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
NIV:
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
Observations:
Psalm 103 is a Psalm of David in which he praises the Lord for his mercies toward him.
In verse eight, he notes four characteristics of our God.
He is compassionate.
He is gracious.
He is slow to anger toward us.
He abounds in love toward us.
Takeaways:
He has been compassionate to him; are we compassionate to others?
He has been gracious to us; are we gracious to others?
He has been slow to become angry with us; have we been slow to become angry toward others?
He abounds in love toward us; do we love others as we should?
