NASB:
For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.
NIV:
For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.
Observations:
The talk of foolish men is ignorance.
Doing good silences the ignorance of the foolish.
As Christians, we are called to do good in order to silence the ignorant talk of the foolish.
To do this is the will of God.

Do good. We have been given a way in which we can promote kingdom virtues and help silence ignorance, and that is to do good.
