NASB:
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love.
NIV:
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Observations:
As Christians, we are called to bear with and tolerate one another.
The apostle Paul writes about being unified in the body of Christ during his letter to the Ephesians.
He also tells us how we are to bear with one another. We are to be completely humble. We are to be gentle, and we are to have patience.
Takeaways:
The essence of humility is putting God and others above ourselves, and he calls us to do that.
He also calls us to be gentle in our dealings with others, particularly other believers.
One of the most important ways we can give to others is to show patience.
In all things, we are to bear with and tolerate our brothers and sisters.
