Observations:
After reminding the Romans about Israel’s unbelief, the apostle Paul begins to explain belief and faith in Christ.
Faith is not something that we can originate. It comes by hearing.
And the hearing that produces faith is the hearing of the word of God.
It is possible to read or listen to the word of God without hearing it. Such activity will not produce faith.
