Scripture in 60: II Corinthians 5:21

NASB:

He made him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

NIV:

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Observations:

God made Jesus.

Jesus did not sin and did not know sin.

We needed someone to be sin on our behalf, and Jesus became sin on our behalf.

We can become the righteousness of God, and we have been given the opportunity to become the righteousness of God through Jesus.

Takeaways:

Reflect and marvel at the fact that Jesus was completely void of sin, yet he came to this earth to be sin for us.

As a result of the work Jesus did, we should respond by accepting the gift given to us and becoming the righteousness of God.
