NASB:
Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
NIV:
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Observations:
In Mark 11, Jesus is talking to Peter and the disciples about how to approach the Father in prayer.
He gives us three steps when going to God for our needs.
Step one is to pray.
Step two is to ask, and we ask in prayer.
Step three is to believe that we have received what we have asked for.
If we do this, what we have asked for will be granted to us.
It is also noteworthy that he says “all things” for which he ask; there is no limit.
Takeaways:
When we need something, pray to God, then ask him for it, then believe that we have received it, and it will be ours.
And don’t limit God. He created the universe, so nothing is impossible for him.
