Patriot’s Report:
Adam Schiff needs to stop talking
Story: Dem Rep. Adam Schiff (California) was on ABC’s This Week on Sunday talking about a variety of issues from the Trump administration’s executive privilege to Joe Biden’s ties to Ukraine. During his commentary about Trump, he said this, “I don’t think this country could survive another four years of a president like this who gets up every day trying to find new and inventive ways to divide us. He doesn’t seem to understand that a fundamental aspect of his job is to try to make us a more perfect union. But that’s not at all where he’s coming from, and he’s going to be defeated. He has to be defeated because I don’t know how much more our democratic institutions can take of this kind of attack on the republic.” (via ABC News)
Patriot’s Pen: Rep. Schiff has a prominent position in government leadership as the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. During the course of a yet-to-be-completed investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Schiff told us repeatedly that he had “evidence” that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. He never produced any evidence, and Mueller’s report found that Trump did not collude with Russia. With all due respect to him, what the country cannot survive is more years filled with Democrats like himself playing political games that have little to no basis in reality and truth. What have Schiff and House Democrats done to unite us? Outside of partisan investigatory spectacles, what have Schiff and House Democrats done at all?
Doris Day was more than just a comedic actress
Patriot’s Pen: Doris Day was an extremely gifted actress, comedian and singer. She was probably best known for her romantic comedy acting during the 1960s. Her work in films such as Send Me No Flowers, Pillow Talk and Lover Come Back was outstanding and hilarious. But perhaps the most underrated part of Day’s prowess was her dramatic acting. Her work on films such as Alfred Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much showed another dimension of her versatile ability. Day died on Monday at the age of 97.
