U.S. sends a warning to Iran
White House National Security Advisor John Bolton has announced that the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a bomber task force have been deployed to the U.S. Central Command region in a show of force to Iran. This takes place after U.S. officials received “clear indications” that Iran and its proxies were planning an attack on U.S. forces in the region.
“The United States is not seeking war with the Iranian regime, but we are fully prepared to respond to any attack, whether by proxy, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or regular Iranian forces,” Bolton said in a statement.
