NASB:
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.
NIV:
Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
Observations:
This verse references the importance of not only the book of Revelation but also the entire word of God.
The one who reads the word is blessed.
But there is something more here, and that is we are to read the words, hear them and take to heart what they say.
We do this because the time, meaning the consummation of all things, is near.
