Observations:
A good portion of Psalm 119, the lenghtiest of all the Psalms, is devoted to the word of God.
The Psalmist is emphasizing its power in showing us how to live our lives.
In this word-picture, the world is shrouded in the darkness of sin, and the lone light is the word of God, showing us what is around our feet and lighting our path.
Takeaways:
As we go through this life, we need to lean upon the word of God.
Oftentimes, the path before us is clouded by the troubles and worries of this world, but our looking to the word of God for guidance will see us through.
