Scripture in 60: Psalm 19:14

NASB:

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

NIV:

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

Observations:

The psalmist David is praising the Lord, but not only praising him, he was also meditating and requesting that his meditation and sacrifice of praise be acceptable in the sight of God.

He used the words of his mouth to praise the Lord.

He meditated from his heart.

He affirmed the Lord as his rock and his redeemer.
