Observations:
Paul is explains to the Romans how a person is saved, and he tells us what we must confess and believe.
We confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord.
We believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead.
If we confess Jesus and believe in his resurrection, we are saved.
Takeaways:
Jesus has offered us an opportunity to be saved from the consequences of our sin, and this verse tells us how to do that.
We need to confess that Jesus is Lord with our mouth.
We need to believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead.
And then we need to live in the freedom of our salvation!
