Observations:
Jesus says come to him if you are weary, heavy-laden or burdened.
If we go to Jesus, he will give us rest.
Takeaways:
Jesus invites us to come to him if we are weary, heavy-laden or burdened — which all of us are. As we go about our lives, we will eventually become worn out by the concerns and stresses of this world, and that is why Jesus is offering himself.
If we go to Jesus, he promises to give us rest. His rest is far more than just physical. He offers spiritual and even eternal rest.
