The NASB says God causes all things to work together for good for those who love him and to those who are called according to his purpose.
The NIV says in all things God works for the good of those who love him and have been called according to his purpose.
Takeaways:
Paul begins this verse by saying it is something we know, have no doubt about it.
God causes all things or works in all things so that good will come of it for those who love him and are called according to his purpose.
We may or may not see the good that comes, or it may be a delayed good. But in God’s sovereign plan, good will come of it.
