We have been saved.

Our salvation is not from ourselves.

Takeaways:
Paul is writing to the Ephesians that we have been saved from the consequences of our sin by the grace of God. He gave us what we did not deserve, eternal life.
We obtain this salvation by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ.
There is nothing we can do to save ourselves. Our salvation doesn’t originate with us. It is a gift from God.
